Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will design, develop, and improve processes that support both new product launches and ongoing production. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a smaller, fast-paced environment and wants to grow with a scaling organization.
Responsibilities
Develop processes, tools, fixtures, equipment, and facility infrastructure for assigned production linesPartner with R&D and manufacturing to move new products from design to productionImplement process controls, including risk analysis, test method validation, and infrastructure monitoringAnalyze and improve production processes using DMAIC, Gage R&R, Cp / Cpk, SPC, and related methodsMaintain and update manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and inspection proceduresLaunch and design simple test fixtures and support qualification activitiesTroubleshoot, manage defects, and implement process improvements for ongoing productionParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and advocate for strong specs and standardsQualifications
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline requiredMinimum 2–3 years of manufacturing experienceHands-on experience with electromechanical test fixtures, circuit boards, or process engineering (only one required)Preferred : experience in medical devices, electromechanical assemblies, low- to mid-volume production, and / or startup environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and process orientationCAD software experience preferred (SolidWorks ideal)Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485 preferredSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and suggest improvementsSuccess in this role looks like :
