Job Title : Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to manage commercial insurance accounts efficiently. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their commercial insurance needs are fully met.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective commercial clients by ensuring a proactive and professional customer service experience.
- Provide expert insurance advice, analyze client needs, and recommend appropriate coverages and solutions.
- Manage the renewal process, including reviewing current policies, negotiating terms with carriers, and presenting renewal options to clients.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, resolving questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Process client documentation, including policy changes, endorsements, and certificates of insurance, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the sales team with new business opportunities by preparing quotes, presentations, and proposals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and market trends to provide clients with timely and relevant advice.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
- Maintain accurate records in the client management system and adhere to company best practices.
Qualifications / Requirements
Proven experience in commercial insurance account management, customer service, or a related role.Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy rating, and underwriting guidelines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied, or similar systems) is a plus.A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Compensation Package
