The Registered Nurse assigned to the Medical / Surgical Unit on 3 Main, is a professional nurse with a broad-based clinical knowledge that enables him / her to effectively provide care to a veteran population with widely diverse medical and surgical diagnoses. Is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and / or supervising direct patient care. The primary duties for the Medical / Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position include but are not limited to :

Work Schedule : 12 hour day / night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. 72 / 80 Alternate Work Schedule authorized after successful completion of orientation program.
