Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

Work in a short term acute care facility within the outpatient physical therapy department

One-on-one patient care model ensures personalized treatment and attention

Day shift schedule of 5x8 hour shifts, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm, with block scheduling

No nights, weekends, on-call, or floating between units required

Epic EMR is used and experience with Epic is required

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Must commit to working at least 3 of the following holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day

All required time off or special scheduling requests must be submitted up-front; additional requests after acceptance may not be approved

Scrubs are required; navy blue for RNs and any color for registered respiratory therapists

Travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities if needed

Returning staff may apply if 3 months have passed since last employment

Annual and pre-start online modules must be completed before starting assignment

Requirements

Valid state license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable

At least 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in comparable settings

Experience with the Epic EMR system is required

Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignments
