Join our team as a Technical Systems Engineer, where you'll champion Panduit solutions for key accounts and pivotal opportunities. Collaborate closely with our sales teams to uncover, cultivate, and finalize strategic prospects. Your expertise in Panduit's offerings and associated technologies will keep you at the forefront of industry advancements.

Forge strong technical relationships with stakeholders at critical accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. As a Technical Systems Engineer, you'll bridge the gap between end-users, consultants, and Panduit, ensuring seamless technical alignment and superior client satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Identify Opportunities : Proactively engage with the account team to uncover customer needs and identify opportunities early.
  • Develop Solutions : Design solutions of varying complexity for regional and large accounts, collaborating with Professional Services when needed.
  • Training and Support : Deliver product and technical training to Account Managers, Distributors, Channel Partners, and System Integrators. Represent the company at trade shows and seminars.
  • Customer & Partner Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, owning all technical aspects of opportunities and providing expert guidance.
  • Opportunity Tracking : Use CRM to keep the account team updated on the status of opportunities and progress.

What You Will Bring

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Experience : 5-7 years of directly related experience in the electrical industry. 3-5 years of experience related to distribution channel, integrators, contractors, end users and / or OEM's.
  • Communication : Excellent communicator of technical topics to technical and non-technical audience including presentations to large groups of people.
  • Knowledge : Ability to learn quickly and maintain knowledge of a wide portfolio of products and solutions; act as the technical expert in 2-5 product sets within their focus area.
  • Travel : Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Must live in the Southeast with easy access to a major airport.

  • Compensation : The expected annual base salary range for this role is $90,000?- $120,000. This role qualifies for a sales incentive plan. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
