Job Summary
The Assessment Director will lead the collaborative development and implementation of a comprehensive plan for the assessment of student learning outcomes at the course, program, educational pathway, and institutional levels. With a primary focus on supporting faculty-led assessment efforts, the Director will work closely with faculty, the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, and administrators to develop academic assessment plans, support high-quality assessment, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the institution. The Director will co-chair the college assessment committee, lead assessment work teams and support Department Assessment Coordinators to sustain high-quality assessment efforts. The Director will demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, innovation, student success, integrity, and diversity in the performance of job duties.

Minimum Qualifications
OR
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, organizational development or directly related field and six years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering, and evaluating instructional services programs which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.
OR
Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and eight years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering, and evaluating instructional services programs which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.
OR
High School Diploma / GED and ten years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering, and evaluating instructional services programs which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.
Desired Qualifications
A.Full-time college-level teaching experience
B. Leadership experience with the development and assessment of student learning outcomes
C. Experience planning and implementing student learning outcomes assessment programs
D. Experience collaborating with faculty using shared governance
E. Experience conducting research and statistical analysis
F.Experience communicating assessment practices and results
G. Experience ensuring assessment work meets accreditor criteria and standards

May work at multiple locations
