Vice President / Assistant Vice President, Specialist, Risk Technology, Technology & Operations-(WD78471)

Business Function

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

1) Establish, implement and monitor technology risk initiative, policies and procedures.

2) Drive and manage technology risk mitigation initiatives, including facilitating Risk Control Self-Assessments and KRI.

3) Define & track action plans against internal / external audit recommendation within technology team.

4) Build key relationships with the various technology units. Work in partnership in identifying and developing solutions to address key technology risk areas.

5) Perform reviews to enhance controls and operational efficiency for technology operations processes.

6) Coordinate training efforts to promote risk management and compliance culture within unit.

7) Develop Business Continuity Plan. Support BCP related exercises and produce exercise reports

8) Identify residual risks, update and obtain risk approval

9) Support outsourcing and regulatory risk review, assessment & examinations.

10) Act as SDM of 3rd party / intra-group outsourcing arrangement and to closely monitor / manage the outsourced activities.

Job Requirements

1) At least 7 years relevant experience in banking and technology operations and practices

2) Exposure in risk management, operations control and / or audit in banks or financial institutions

3) Professional Certification preferred – CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC etc

4) Sound knowledge and understanding of banking & IT operations & practices

5) Good interpersonal relationship and communication with business and support partners.

6) Possess growth mindset and proactively identify and bring up change opportunities, accept challenges and be able to work under pressure

7) Good command of both English and Chinese spoken and writing skills.
