MEP Department Head

Qualifications and responsibilities for this MEP Department Head position include :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field); Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum 10 years of MEP design and project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Manage and mentor a team of 25 engineers across multiple projects and disciplines
• Oversee technical review of MEP designs, ensuring quality, code compliance, and client satisfaction
• Build and maintain client relationships while leading strategic business development efforts in the NJ and PA region
• Expertise with MEP design software, CAD, and Deltek Vision preferred
• Strong understanding of K-12, higher education, healthcare, life sciences, municipal, and state facility projects
• Availability for a full-time schedule in-office for the first year; flexible schedules like 4 / 10s or 9 / 80s may be available after

Salary : $147,000 - $243,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Total compensation package estimated between $250,000 - $300,000 annually with bonus.
