Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipe Layer to join our team in Mobile, AL, 36608. As a Pipe Layer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of various piping systems. Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain various types of piping systems, including drainage, sewer, and water lines.
  • Excavate trenches and prepare sites for pipe installation.
  • Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipes during installation.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of installed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in the training of junior staff and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Layer or similar role in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe installation techniques and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent physical stamina and strength; ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
