What Youll Do

As a Service Technician, youll protect clients assets by installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm, security, access control, surveillance, and intercom systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Youll ensure these systems function properly and comply with fire codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the service and installation of security and fire systems hardware
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations
  • Create documentation and reports for security assessments and audits
  • Complete required training and certifications within specified timelines
  • Accurately maintain inventory records
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

    • What Were Looking For

    Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar technician role supporting fire systems
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Familiarity with iPhone / iPad and related best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with security and fire systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and use hand and power tools
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

    • Performance Metrics :

  • System accuracy and compliance with safety codes
  • Timely completion of assigned jobs
  • Customer satisfaction scores
  • Inventory and documentation accuracy
  • Completion of training and certification milestones

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
  • Work in client sites including on ladders and rooftops

  • Core work hours : MondayFriday, 7 : 30 a.m. 4 : 30 p.m.

  • Base Salary : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
  • Company Vehicle : Provide no earlier than 90 days after hire date
  • Company Cell Phone : Provided on day one of employment
