Role Overview :

As the Emergency Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while overseeing unit operations during your shift. In partnership with the management team, you will monitor nursing practices, guide your colleagues, and maintain our commitment to exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes for optimal patient flow.
  • Engage in ongoing quality assessments of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
  • Work with other healthcare professionals to cultivate teamwork focused on improved patient outcomes.
  • Embrace a patient-first philosophy and lead service recovery initiatives when required.
  • Enhance staff engagement through initiatives such as employee rounding and hourly checks.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in managing staff schedules to align with patient care demands and productivity guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory control and manage supplies and equipment effectively.

Qualifications :

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course certification required within one year of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course certification required within one year of hire
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
