This full-time, 11-month faculty position combines leadership and teaching responsibilities, overseeing departmental operations, faculty supervision, scheduling, budgeting, and program development. Responsibilities :

• Provide Academic and Instructional Leadership
• Oversee departmental operations to ensure high-quality instruction and alignment with college standards.
• Assign faculty to courses, coordinate the annual class schedule, and consult on curriculum or program changes.
• Maintain departmental records, ensure compliance with academic policies, and manage dual credit, assessment, and facility needs.
• Support and Develop Faculty Excellence
• Conduct teaching observations and performance evaluations for full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Facilitate professional growth through feedback, collaboration, and consistent communication.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for departmental faculty and staff.
• Foster Student Success and Engagement
• Address and resolve student inquiries and instructional concerns promptly and professionally.
• Review and approve exceptions to academic requirements and ensure access to appropriate courses and resources.
• Promote an equitable, student-centered learning environment.
• Manage Departmental Operations and Resources
• Prepare and oversee the department's operating budget, including course fees and resource allocations.
• Facilitate timely performance management and ensure accountability within the department.
• Collaborate actively on the School Leadership Team to advance institutional goals and strategic priorities.
