As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling and monitoring a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or delivery personnel to provide assistance and support as needed. Document and report incidents, security-related events, and / or maintenance needs observed during patrols. Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
