We are seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team at Silver Cross Hospital. The position includes a competitive salary, potential sign-on bonus, and a variety of anesthesia procedures across diverse patient demographics. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced anesthesiologists and new graduates looking to contribute to a dynamic practice.

Silver Cross Hospital and Allied Anesthesia Associates are seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist to add to their practice of 13 MD's and over 20 CRNA's!

Job Description :

  • Turnover rate - very low
  • General structure of the team - MD / CRNA care model
  • Open for full-time permanent positions with weekend coverage
  • Shift times are variable with a potential for call
  • How often is the weekend schedule? The call is 24 hours and there is an incentive attached to it. Approximately 2-3 calls a month.
  • Spinals and epidurals can be done by CRNAs, all nerve blocks are done by MDs.
  • Pre-ops are mostly done by the MDs unless it s a MAC case where the CRNAs can do it.
  • Trauma level II
  • 10 ORs
  • Patient age demographic : pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
  • Required procedures : General surgical cases, IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Open to new graduates
  • Not accepting visa candidates
  • Not accepting Locums candidates

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology - REQUIRED
  • IL license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • DEA Verbal Confirmation and CSR (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • COVID and Flu Vaccinations - REQUIRED
  • US Trained and Boarded- REQUIRED
  • Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? ) - REQUIRED
