What You’ll Do :

  • Prepare charts and H / P prior to the surgery.
  • Prep equipment and instruments.
  • Clean and organize ASC
  • These are the binders we need to have up to date in the ASC.
  • Logs need to be done on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Requirements :

  • Must have experience with verifying insurances, pre-certifications and authorizations.
  • Excellent communication skills and excellent work ethic.
  • Must be well organized with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be reliable with a friendly phone and in person demeanor.
  • Must have experience scheduling patients
  • Must be computer literate and have proven customer service skills.
  • Handles sensitive patient information with confidentiality to ensure patient privacy per HIPPA Law.
  • EMR Experience and in a surgical environment is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel for training.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to take initiative to complete solo projects.

    • Skills / Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
