We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst - Project Lead for a critical, long-term contract opportunity to support complex, change-oriented projects in the public health sector. This position is central to evaluating agency needs, defining business processes, and ensuring successful IT and non-technical solution delivery.

Key Daily Duties
The principal focus is on analysis and advice regarding strategies for IT and non-technical solutions, including :
Evaluating agency needs, as-is and to-be business processes, and technical designs.Providing detailed analysis and documentation of business processes and requirements.Serving as a liaison between the business programs community and the IT organization.Analyzing business partner operations to identify opportunities to automate processes and functions.Translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and managing changes to those specifications.Proactively identifying risks, issues, and action items.Required Skills (Highly Important)
At least seven years of experience in commercial healthcare .At least three years' experience in State Medicaid payer system integration and delivery .Experience with inner workings of cross-functional projects.Familiarity with Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) business architecture principles.Exceptional attention to detail.Preferred Skills
General Subject Matter Expertise as it relates to Medicaid or other healthcare insurance experience (project or operations).MMIS experience (project or operations).Familiarity with standard data structures, electronic data interchange, processes, and related file formats.Interest, skill, and ability to innovate (including business processes, methods / procedures, and technology).Microsoft Office Project / Project ServerEducation
Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
