Medical Biller

We are currently seeking a Medical Biller to join our client's growing team in the Fall River, MA area. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of medical billing, denial management, and insurance follow-up.

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire (CTH) or Direct Hire (DH)

Pay : $21 $25 per hour

Location : Fall River, MA (On-site)

Schedule : 8.5-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (30-minute lunch). Start between 7 : 00 AM 9 : 00 AM.

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.

Dress Code : Business Casual

Transportation : Must have reliable transportation (car required)

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and process medical claims with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• Handle insurance denials and follow up with payers to resolve discrepancies.
• Work with both government and commercial insurance plans.
• Interpret and process Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs); familiarity with any EMR system is acceptable.
• Collaborate with internal teams and revenue cycle partners to streamline billing practices.
• Maintain knowledge of billing codes (ICD-9, ICD-10) and payer guidelines.
