Summary :
Provides quality screening mammography services; participates in the coordination of center activities and patient flow with multidisciplinary clinics within the Institute, referring physicians and patients outside of the Institute.

Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification with advanced certification in mammography or meets the MQSA standards which requires completion of at least 40 contact hours of documented training specific to mammography, with a minimum of 25 examinations, under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
3. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
