Basic requirements include :

Previous apprenticeship in fabrication / welding or proven commensurate experience.

Knowledge and experience with fabrication and piping system build processes.

Minimum 3 years' experience with welding and fabrication, producing quality welds.

Knowledge of proper and effective use of welding equipment and settings for GMAW, FCAW, GTAW welders.

Experience with heavy weldments required.

Experience welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steels.

Can weld in all positions.

Ability to weld 20 gauge (mild steel, stainless steel) up to 2-inch steel.

Experience reading and working with fabrication and piping drawings.

Familiarity with pipe and tube fittings, sizes, and material.

Experience and training using a forklift and overhead hoist preferred.

Experience in a shop environment required.

Experience with but not required rolling, bending, and forming various metals including aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel.

Ability and knowledge of the use of appropriate hand tools and power tools required.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Valid drivers' license with good driving record

Experience in the use of a personal computer; ability to work at a computer keyboard and view emails and work documents on a computer screen.

Highly effective oral and written communication skills.

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.

Some travel may be required.

Future growth :

Potential to be certified in B31.3 ASME and D1.1
