Restaurant Technology Specialist
Full-Time | Multi-Location Restaurant Group
We are a fast-growing, multi-concept restaurant company seeking a skilled and solution-driven Restaurant Technology Specialist to support our locations, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure all restaurant technology runs smoothly. This role is critical to our daily operations and new-store development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems, terminals, KDS screens, payment devices, and printers.
- Oversee networking and internet infrastructure at each location, including routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Support online ordering, delivery platforms, and third-party integrations to ensure accuracy and uptime.
- Manage digital menu systems, loyalty programs, and guest rewards technology.
- Provide support for corporate software including scheduling, payroll, HR, and accounting platforms.
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices, PCI compliance, and secure user access controls.
- Lead technology setup for new restaurant openingsincluding POS installation, network buildout, cameras, audio, and digital signage.
- Maintain and troubleshoot surveillance systems and AV equipment across the company.
- Train managers and staff on operational systems and create quick-reference guides when needed.
- Coordinate with technology vendors, ISPs, and service providers to resolve issues quickly.
- Assist leadership with reporting, analytics, and system optimization.
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend upgrades, efficiencies, and new technology solutions.
Qualifications
Experience with restaurant POS systems (Toast, Micros, Aloha, Clover, etc.).Strong understanding of networking (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VLANs) and basic IT support.Familiarity with online ordering, delivery platforms, and integration tools.Working knowledge of restaurant back-office systems (scheduling, HR / payroll, inventory).Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems efficiently.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple locations.Excellent communication skills and patience when training staff.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional nights / weekends for urgent support.Reliable transportation to travel between restaurant locations.What We Offer
