Job Description - Chief of Staff
The Chief of Staff creates an environment for the CEO that results in effective time management, adequate flow of information, understanding of the political landscape and meeting preparedness, to support effective decision-making processes. This position is an integral part of the CEO's day-to-day activities and as such, will identify key issues, industry research and input from other leaders to act as an advisor to the CEO. Leads the CEO Administration team to ensure Officer team receives reliable and efficient administrative support. Lead projects as directed, supports the officer team on major initiatives, providing additional capabilities and capacity.

Manage information flow to / from the CEOManage development of presentationsEnsure the materials are delivered on time and on targetAdvisor to the CEOAdvisor regarding CEO decisions and public engagements relative to Political LandscapeProvide capacity and capability to the officer teamLead CEO Administration teamStrategy Development and Tracking SupportKnowledge, skills and abilities required include :
A Bachelor's degree is required preferably in Business, Legal, Engineering, Public administration / public policy, or related disciplines.5-10 years' experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above and ideally a combination of education and experience.Good understanding of our industry, company and communitiesDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse groups across functional lines and effectively build relationshipsGood interpersonal skills are critical.
