Enterprise Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Enterprise Business Development Manager to expand our market presence and drive the adoption of our cutting-edge automation solutions, with a specific focus on AutoStore. This role will be pivotal in building strong relationships with new clients while aggressively pursuing new business opportunities in a designated region. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, resourceful, and possess a passion for automation and technology.
Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer buying cycles.
- Develop and execute targeted and creative outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and schedule initial meetings within your target account base.
- Target accounts at the right buying cycle to maximize efficiency.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits of automation and demonstrate how AutoStore solutions can address their specific challenges vs other technologies.
- Act as a consultative partner, guiding clients through the automation journey and helping them develop comprehensive strategies.
- Clear the path for AutoStore to be considered as a strategic partner for warehouse automation projects.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners and influencers within target accounts.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of AutoStore and articulate its competitive advantages.
- Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Create and maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, in our CRM system. This includes creating and executing on account plans and strategies.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance and pipeline progress.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2-3 years in business development, with successful track record in outbound prospecting and opportunity creation, preferably within the automation, supply chain or technology industries.Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Experience creating and executing on account plans and strategies.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience influencing client strategy.Resource and creative approach to business development.Experience with CRM software.A background in, or understanding of warehouse automation is a plus.We Offer :
