Position Summary
The Department of Art & Design seeks graphic design and interactive media faculty to teach courses ranging from foundation to advance design (e.g., typography, publication design, 3D Modeling, UI / UX) for fall 2025 in our international program in southwestern China. The instructor is hired to teach one or two courses for which he / she / they are qualified to teach. The instructor will provide quality instruction for the assigned courses and work with full-time faculty and translators in assessing students and following all course guidelines. The instructor reports to the Program Director. The courses are in-person in China and online from the US as part of our international program. The position is subject to all terms and provisions of the University of St. Francis adjunct faculty contract. Hours / Shift / Work Schedule
Adjunct faculty is willing to teach in-person at the Sichuan University of Science and Engineering ( SUSE ) in China and / or online from the US.
Physical Requirements of Position
Work is performed in classroom settings with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities : sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
