Critical Care / ICU Nurse Practitioner

Start Date : 7 / 7 / 2025 (Ongoing need)

Contract Length : Ongoing

Schedule : Variable shifts as part of a 24 / 7 / 365 coverage model

Minimum : 4 6 shifts per 4-week block

Shift Options :

10-hour evenings : 1 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM

12-hour days / nights : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM / 7 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM

Nights, weekends, and holidays shared equally among team members

Call Required : In-house night call shared among all team members post-orientation

Clinical Details

Setting : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Supervision Model : Collaborative team environment

Patient Population : Pediatric patients

Patient Census : 4 6 patients during day shifts; nights include coverage for team-assigned patients and new admissions

Arterial Line Placement

Central Venous Line Placement

Chest Tube Placement

Endotracheal Intubation

Lumbar Puncture

PICC Placement

EMR : Epic
