Our network of medical professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), have been joined by Social Workers, Psychologists, and Resource Room Teachers to cover the care needs of our school district partners.

Position Overview :

As a 1 : 1 Registered School Nurse, you will provide individualized health care to a specific student with unique medical needs. Your role will involve collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure the student's health and well-being while promoting a positive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver direct nursing care to the assigned student during school hours.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document the student's health status and any changes.
• Develop and implement Individual Health Plans (IHPs) in collaboration with the student's healthcare team.
• Educate staff and classmates about the student's medical condition, when appropriate.
• Provide emotional support and promote self-advocacy skills for the student.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to the student's education.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
