Job Description
Support attorneys on a wide range of commercial and residential real estate litigation mattersAssist with foreclosure actions, enforcement of judgments, unlawful detainer matters, and other real estate disputesDraft, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondenceManage case files, organize and maintain case materials, and track critical deadlines from intake through resolutionCoordinate motion and trial preparation, including assembling binders, exhibits, witness files, and hearing materialsAssist with e-filing and traditional filing in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with local rulesConduct factual and legal research, including public records, title, and property-related investigationsSupport real estate closings, including preparing closing checklists, gathering documents, and coordinating signaturesReview and summarize title documents, surveys, and related real estate materialsPrepare and file corporate and entity documents, and handle drafting and recording with County Recorders throughout CaliforniaCommunicate with clients, courts, experts, and vendors in a professional and service-oriented mannerQualifications
5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, ideally with real estate or commercial litigation focusStrong experience with motion and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and maintaining case materialsExperience with foreclosures, enforcement of judgments, unlawful detainers, or similar real estate disputes preferredFamiliarity with real estate closings, title review, and recording documents with County Recorders in CaliforniaBachelors degree or Paralegal Certificate requiredExcellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills in a deadline-driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindsetTech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems, including document management and e-filing platformsAbility to work on-site in San Francisco three days per week as part of a hybrid scheduleWhy Youll Love Working Here
