Role Definition
The Director of Supply Chain for Caterpillar's Earthmoving division will lead a team that oversees order-to-delivery and supply chain to ensure availability of material to support manufacturing globally and on-time delivery of machines to dealers and customers. This position collaborates with the team and partner functions to develop, implement and manage supply chain strategies and solutions to maintain and grow Caterpillar's competitive position. The Earthmoving division is responsible for the products at the core of Caterpillar including Medium Tractor Products, Motor Graders, Medium Wheel Loaders, and Paving products), which includes the machines upon which our company was founded. Earthmoving serves dozens of industries and represents two brands, Caterpillar and SEM. Earthmoving works collaboratively as one team to grow services and create solutions superior to the competition while sharing a purpose to help our customers build a better world.

Degree or equivalent experience desired.
Skill Descriptors

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) : Knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.
Supplier Management - MFG : Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.

This position is eligible for stock or other equity grants pursuant to Caterpillar's long-term incentive plan. Summary Pay Range : $185,400.00 - $278,160.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
