Stamford Hospital is seeking an individual to join the Operating Room Team as a GI Technician ( Gastrointestinal) . This is a full-time (40 hours / weekly), Monday–Friday, Rotating Shifts. The position located at our Tully Health Center in Stamford, CT. The GI Technicians primary focus will be assisting the physician be setting up the room, providing instrumentation, supplies and equipment required during the endoscopic procedure. Schedule : Rotating Hours. Shifts may start as early as 7 : 00 AM and end as late as 5 : 30 PM.

- Provide a safe patient care experience by verifying patient information, assuring the operative consent, faculty consent, anesthesia consent and additional required information
- Ensure all equipment and required tools are maintained and well-kept to the highest standards
- Promote efficiency and safety at all times
- Accurately handle and identify specimens according to established guidelines
Required Experience
