We are a small Credit Union on the East side of Austin seeking an experienced Title and Collections Specialist to join our family! Full-time schedule is from 8 : 15 AM-5 : 15 PM Monday-Friday.

We are seeking an experienced Title and Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team and make an immediate impact! Responsibilities :

The Title and Collections Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of title processing, insurance tracking, and collection activities. This includes receiving and tracking of required insurance documentation and coordinating title-related tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling the monitoring and collection of delinquent accounts. This role will also include loan processing responsibilities and requires a professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with members and third parties.

Requirements of Position :

Skills and Abilities :

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, core collection / lending software, and other relevant programs.
  • Must be 10-key proficient and able to type using a standard US keyboard.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform accurate mental math and complex problem-solving.
  • Able to interpret and apply credit union policies, loan regulations, and collection procedures.

Physical, mental, and location requirements include :

  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for up to 6 hours.
  • Must be able to squat, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to type using a standard US keyboard.
  • Must be able to work with a computer, computer keyboard, and computer monitor as provided by the credit union.
  • Must be able to report to the office assigned by management for your scheduled shift; remote locations or working from home is not allowed or permitted (occasionally you may be asked to work remotely when needed and at supervisors’ discretion).
  • Must be able to complete complex mental challenges as presented by the members.
  • Must be able to memorize complex workflows, codes, and personal identifiers for efficient service delivery.

    Pay : $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 40 per week
