job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSalary range : $180,000–$220,000 (based on experience) Monday–Friday schedule High-volume pharmacy Leadership over pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff Autonomy to enhance workflow, quality systems, and operational efficiency Full benefits package : medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match Oversee all daily pharmacy operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and production goals. Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacists and technicians to maintain a high-performing team. Direct non-sterile and hazardous compounding operations, including engineering controls, equipment, and documentation standards. Ensure full compliance with USP Strengthen quality assurance programs, environmental monitoring, and maintenance schedules. Identify and implement operational improvements in workflow, technology, and compounding processes. Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews to maintain licensure and compliance. Build training programs and oversee performance management for all pharmacy personnel. Assess and refine workflow across non-sterile and hazardous compounding. Strengthen team alignment, communication, and role clarity. Ensure documentation, environmental controls, and QA programs meet regulatory standards. Establish a forward-looking plan for growth, compliance, and operational enhancements. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Active Alabama pharmacist license (or ability to obtain quickly) Proven expertise in non-sterile and hazardous compounding Strong working knowledge of USP Leadership experience in a high-volume compounding environment Ability to manage teams, systems, and compliance with precision Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement

A rapidly expanding 503A compounding pharmacy in the Mobile, Alabama area is seeking an accomplished Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations, elevate quality standards, and drive growth across a high-volume non-sterile and hazardous compounding environment.
