Technical Accounting Director / Sr. Manager

Century Group's client is searching for a Technical Accounting Manager. The role of a Technical Accounting Manager is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $160,000 per year.

Responsibilities :

Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and disclosures.

Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Strengthen and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.

Collaborate with external auditors to ensure robust control environments.

Effectively communicate technical accounting matters to senior management, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation.

Requirements :

Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Experience with complex accounting issues such as revenue recognition, leases, and stock-based compensation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards to real-world situations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Experience :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification required.

7+ years of experience in technical accounting.
