Job Title : Bio-Medical Equipment Technician

Location : New York, NY

Pay Range : : $32 - $34 hourly

Duties :

Repairs, calibrates, operates and maintains all types of basic medical equipment technologies, devices, instruments and systems. Inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of general equipment.

Much of the role would require stocking properly (checking for expired items), turning over the operating room, making sure machines (sonogram, rapid infuser) etc are clean and dusted regularly.

Very Important that candidate is able to communicate and work well with other FTEs, Nurses, Anesthesiologists, they will take orders from Nurses etc anyone who needs help really.

It’s a small department where communication and respect are important Position can go FTE if worker works well with the dept.

They will be using a cellphone and beeper (provided to them by h&h) for urgent needs so its important that they communicate when they go to lunch, break, etc.

Skills : 1 year experience.

Education :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associate's Degree in Bio Medical Technology, Bio Medical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Electronics Technology or related field preferred.
