Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Mechanical Engineering, Senior Advisor (Part-time / On Call) to provide support for our NAVAIR customer. In this position you will have the opportunity to be part of the Navy's Fuel Systems and Aerial Refueling Branch, provide engineering expertise to the design, development, analysis, construction, modification, qualification, and maintenance of all Fuel Containment, Aerial Refueling & Fuel Systems.
What you will do :
The primary duties include serving as a senior mentor to junior-level engineers as they support both developmental and deployed rotary-wing, fixed-wing, and unmanned aircraft platforms. Applicants should have significant depth of knowledge in the assessment and solution of technical problems in aircraft fuel systems, aerial refueling, and fuel containment. Applicants should have significant knowledge, skill and experience in the development and evaluation of performance requirements, design criteria, processes, and analysis methods related to aircraft fuel systems, aerial refueling, and fuel containment and their components.

Target Salary Range
146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
