This position supports a publicly traded company in the automotive aftermarket industry with a global footprint and complex tax operations. The role centers on income tax compliance, provision, audits, and strategic planning across both domestic and international entities. It plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and optimizing tax strategies within a highly regulated and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and support income tax compliance, provision calculations, and audits for domestic and international operations.
- Prepare and review quarterly income tax provisions and tax account reconciliations.
- Research tax laws and regulations, including identifying applicable credits and incentives.
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and strategic tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax-related systems and workflows.
- Manage or support special projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree / CPA with 3+ years.Strong understanding of GAAP (especially ASC ), tax compliance, and general ledger activity.Experience with fixed asset depreciation and tax provision processes.Preferred Skills :
CPA certification and / or Master’s in Taxation.Experience with OneSource Income and Provision software.Familiarity with tax research platforms (Bloomberg, CCH, Checkpoint).Working knowledge of Alteryx and Oracle ERP systems.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
