As we approach our 100th year, we're looking to strengthen our team with a skilled System Administrator who will help support and enhance our technology infrastructure.
What You'll Do
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT professional to join our internal technology team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the bank's computer systems, network, and cybersecurity protocols. You'll also support staff with technical issues and ensure our systems remain secure, efficient, and compliant.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain server and network infrastructure to ensure maximum system uptime
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across departments
- Manage security protocols, firewalls, antivirus systems, and user access controls
- Set up, configure, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software applications
- Administer backup systems and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data
- Assist employees via help desk support and troubleshoot technical problems
- Ensure systems meet compliance and regulatory standards in the financial sector
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for systems, procedures, and policies
- Collaborate with vendors and external IT support when needed
What You Bring
Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 3 years in IT support, systems administration, or network managementStrong background in Microsoft Windows environments (desktop / server)Experience with tools such as Veeam, VMware vSphere, Cisco Networking, and SolarWinds preferredFamiliarity with banking platforms like Jack Henry or AS / 400 is a bonusIT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are desirableStrong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamPrevious experience in banking or a financial institution is advantageousPerks and Benefit
