Job Description
Transport mail between the company and the United States Post Office, making bulk delivery and pick-up between trips to and from the mailroom and the receiving and shipping docks. Inspects incoming mail at the pick-up point and at the plant for suspicious materials, taking prescribed precautionary measures. Receives, inspects, sorts, and delivers incoming, outgoing, and inter-office mail of various size and weights. May include registered, certified, and insured mail. Packages domestic, international, and military mail in accordance with company, government and security regulations, using most economical and proper mailing methods consistent with requested delivery requirements. Will ship materials in the proper method and in accordance with company, government and security regulations. May be required to operate a bicycle, scooter, automobile and / or other vehicles in the performance of duties outlined above. Maintains records as applicable. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to walk as much as 20K steps a day. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
