Schedule : Full-Time M-F Some Saturdays may be Required

Job Summary :

As a Yard Associate you will be the first point of contact for customers in the yard assisting with order pulling loading and unloading merchandise and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Youll play a key role in ensuring customers leave satisfied and eager to return while working collaboratively with the team to support efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon entering the yard creating a welcoming experience.
• Assist customers in locating pulling and loading their orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate a forklift (after completing required training and certification) to load and unload trucks safely.
• Inspect and handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage during loading and unloading.
• Assist truck drivers with loading customer orders and unloading returned items ensuring proper storage.
• Unload incoming freight verify counts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized yard environment free of litter and hazards.
• Provide customers with information on related products pricing and promotions to enhance their experience.
• Stay informed about products their uses pricing and new inventory.
• Complete required reports such as order checks material received logs and forklift inspection sheets.
• Interact positively and promptly with customers in person and over the phone delivering exceptional service.
• Follow safe lifting techniques and observe safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Participate in company-sponsored training programs to enhance product knowledge and skills.
• Promote a team-oriented environment by assisting colleagues and other work areas as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
