Technology Transfer Manager
The Technology Transfer Manager (TTM) will design, build, and manage a technology transfer program at UCAR. The TTM will be responsible for performing a gap analysis, developing and executing on a vision to create a robust technology transfer office, including creating a strategic plan for success to include : creating training programs for employees, protecting all forms of IP created by employees with potential, determining the valuation of IP and the most appropriate marketing strategies to commercialize it, identifying and building relationships with research partners / industry customers, and developing / negotiating research / commercial agreements to enhance the economic and societal impact of UCAR developed technology. This is a 2-year term position with the possibility of extension. This role will report to the Director of External Engagement and Business Development.
Job Location : Boulder, Colorado
Position Type & Term : Full time, Term - 6 months or more (Fixed Term)
Compensation Range : $126,000 - $165,000
Notes : Location : 3 weekly in-office work days (Boulder, CO)
