Job Description : The Material Estimator will work and is responsible for accurately compiling the complete cost of materials needed for various projects and tasks in support of production and spares proposals. Essential Functions : Responsible for all aspects of proposal material estimating including but not limited to the following :
Qualifications : Must be a U.S. Citizen. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Aerospace / Defense industry experience. Ability to create Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables, Excel Vlookups and organization of large amounts of data. Working knowledge of material pricing techniques. Strong presentation skills and attention to detail. Interpersonal skills and adept at resolving time sentitive problems. Understanding and working knowledge of engineering documentation and product configuration. Must have advanced computer skills (preferably Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and a solid understanding and knowledge of ERP / MRP systems (Costpoint and SAP preferred).
Preferred Additional Skills : Ability to work and prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment. Understanding of Business Acquisition Process. Knowledge of FAR 15-2 and Truth and Negotiations Act
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $61,500-114,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
