Epic It Systems Analyst

City / State : Virginia Beach, VA

Overview : Sentara Health is looking for an EPIC IT systems analyst to join our IT clinical team!

Responsibilities typically include : working independently with general supervision, dealing with difficult but not complex problems, and influencing others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Education

  • Bachelors' Degree preferred
  • Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree : 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree

Certification / Licensure

  • Epic certification in Cupid / Radiant / inpatient & Ambulatory would be a plus

    • Experience

  • Experience with EPIC or a clinical background in cardiology required
  • Experience supporting Epic Cupid / Radiant / inpatient & Ambulatory in a large healthcare setting would be a plus
  • Hands-on build experience in EPIC Cupid / Radiant / inpatient & Ambulatory strongly preferred
  • Ability to analyze business and clinical needs, evaluate software releases or new products, and provide recommendations to improve workflows and reduce costs
  • Strong background in business / clinical operations and application functionality, with hands-on experience performing and documenting workflow assessments to determine functional requirements
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support application integration that aligns with organizational and clinical goals
  • Skilled in developing system test plans and executing testing for software upgrades and patches, including maintaining detailed records of testing progress and results

    • We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is : $61,235.20-$102,065.60. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
