Overview :

This programming team works fully remote and plays a key role in managing and delivering AV control solutions across a high volume of simultaneous projects. Candidates must be strong communicators, capable of working closely with field teams and project leadership. Priority technologies are :

  • Primary : Crestron (HEAVY emphasis)
  • Secondary : QSC / QSYS
  • Tertiary : Extron

Core Responsibilities :

  • Program medium to large Crestron systems including video distribution (NVX), conference rooms, training / event spaces, and video walls
  • Support nationwide AV programming needs across all branches
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with Project Managers, Field Engineers, and Team Leads
  • Provide remote commissioning and troubleshooting support
  • Maintain consistent documentation and version control of programming files

    • Base Technical Requirements :

  • Proficiency in Crestron Simpl / Simpl
  • Experience with QSYS scripting and audio configuration
  • Familiarity with Extron GCP and scripting tools
  • Ability to commission AV systems with minimal oversight

    • Advanced Programming Skills (Preferred) :

  • Crestron C# and HTML5 development within Visual Studio
  • Lua scripting in QSC QSYS
  • JavaScript programming in Extron Scripting Manager
  • Multi-platform programming expertise for scalable commercial solutions

    • Certifications (Required & Preferred) :

  • Minimum : Crestron CP- certification
  • Preferred : Crestron Master Programmer Silver
  • QSYS Level 1 Quantum Control Level 1
  • Biamp Tesira certification
  • Dante Level 1 & 2 certification

    • Experience Expectations (Based on Location) :

    Remote Candidates :

  • 10 years in the AV industry, including installation and on-site commissioning experience
  • Proven ability to support field teams remotely and lead programming efforts independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for system commissioning or field support

    • Local Candidates (within 1 hour of branch) :

  • 510 years in the AV industry
  • Ability to regularly visit job sites and work directly with local teams
  • Expected to spend more time commissioning systems and working hands-on with hardware
