Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the school, including classrooms, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all flooring surfaces

Empty and sanitize trash and recycling bins throughout the building

Disinfect high-touch surfaces to maintain a healthy environment

Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the school’s entrance and outdoor areas as needed

Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards

Follow all health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols

Perform deep cleaning duties as scheduled or required

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong attention to detail and consistency

Reliable, punctual, and takes initiative

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Work Schedule : Will be discussed at interview.

Work Environment :

The Cleaning Specialist works indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Appropriate safety training and PPE are provided.
