The Maximo Utility Working Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization secures high-quality products and services at competitive prices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our operational goals and financial objectives. Your expertise will contribute to fostering strong relationships with suppliers and vendors while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will analyze market trends to proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. This position requires strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams within the organization. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate procurement records and generating reports for management to support decision-making. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with company goals.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure best value and quality of products and services.
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to develop and support procurement initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to inform purchasing decisions and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
- Prepare and present procurement reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a utility or similar environment.Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in supplier relationship management.Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in procurement practices.Benefits
