As a Full-Time Property Manager at Y your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the property to ensure a safe clean and welcoming environment for everyone. Coordinating maintenance requests will be essential to keep the facilities in top shape. Additionally youll manage cleaning staff and work closely with our energetic team to foster a sense of community. Flexibility is key as you navigate the different systems in the building. What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Full-Time Property Manager at YMCA of Greater Toledo youll need a dynamic set of skills and qualifications. A high school diploma is essential and preferred certifications in facility-related areas such as HVAC electrical and aquatics (CPO) will give you a significant edge. Having CPR and First Aid certification is a must to ensure safety in our community. You should possess a solid facility maintenance background to understand the unique nature and function of our properties.

Strong human relations supervision and communication skills are critical for effectively coordinating activities and collaborating with staff and volunteers. Leadership and organizational abilities will be crucial as you guide your team toward success. Experience in budget management will help you assist the Executive in controlling costs and exceeding our budget targets. Lastly being flexible and ready to serve as an on-call staff person during emergencies will ensure that you excel in this exciting role!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Hire and train cleaning staff as needed.
• Periodically serve as on-call staff person in case of Association facility emergencies.
• Assist the Executive with budget controls and take effective action to meet or exceed budget targets.
• The incumbent will have a facility maintenance background to properly understand the nature and function of buildings and properties. High School diploma is required. Certification(s) / endorsements in facility related areas such as HVAC electrical aquatics (CPO) is preferred; CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong human relations supervision and communication skills are critical in order to coordinate activities and to work effectively with staff and volunteers.
• Strong leadership organizational and public relations skills plus experience in budget management are a must.
