Structural Project Manager
Position Overview
The Structural Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project alignment.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, codes, and regulations, including METRO RAIL and CALTRANS guidelines.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) certification is an asset.Experience with software such as OpenRoad, OpenRail, and MicroStation.Strong understanding of structural design principles and infrastructure projects.Familiarity with DOT regulations and standards.Proven project management experience in the engineering field.Benefits
