Service Advisor – Mobile Department

Location : Greensboro Headquarters – Greensboro, NC (On-Site)

Hourly Pay : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Hours : 50 hours per week (includes rotating Saturday schedule)

Responsibilities :

Service Coordination & Workflow Management (70-80%)

  • Accurately input and update service orders, job details, and technician schedules
  • Maintain real-time job tracking for internal use and customer updates
  • Ensure proper documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Customer Service & Communication

  • Serve as a main point of contact for customers regarding service updates and scheduling
  • Handle incoming calls and emails professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Proactively address customer concerns and provide timely updates
  • Technician Scheduling & Support

  • Manage daily schedules for mobile technicians, ensuring maximum efficiency
  • Quickly reallocate resources to accommodate urgent service requests
  • Maintain clear communication with technicians regarding job details, required parts, and tools
  • Quoting & Estimation

  • Generate accurate job quotes based on technician assessments
  • Ensure quotes are properly documented within the service system for quick approvals
  • Parts & Inventory Support

  • Coordinate with the Parts Coordinator to ensure necessary parts are ordered and available
  • Minimize delays by optimizing the parts tracking process
  • Qualifications :

  • Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills, including professional phone and email communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt and problem-solve quickly to meet customer and technician needs
  • Experience in service coordination and quoting; prior experience as a Service Advisor, Dispatcher, or similar role is a plus
  • Proficiency with service management software, AI tools, Microsoft products, and digital communication platforms
  • Availability for a rotating Saturday schedule as part of operational needs

  • Performance Expectations :

  • Maintain 98% accuracy in service order documentation
  • Respond to 95% of customer inquiries within one hour during business hours
  • Provide 95% of quotes within four hours of request
  • Ensure daily schedule updates to prevent conflicts and ensure efficiency
  • This role is similar to an automotive dealership service advisor but is dedicated exclusively to supporting our mobile service operations, which provide heavy-duty diesel maintenance, repair, and service. Our technicians are strategically positioned across North Carolina and the country, delivering on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs wherever they are needed.
