Hardware Engineering Manager

This position will provide engineering leadership and management skills to a diverse team. Understanding engineering processes will be required to lead the team. This position will oversee hardware design, configuration, troubleshooting, baseline preservation, maintenance, and all documentation. Other duties include employee selection / recruitment, training, mentoring, time charging review / approval, salary planning, promotion planning, recognition activities and in general, maintaining a rewarding and productive work environment for this team. In addition, you will be expected to engage in the management and development of personnel to include performing candid employee reviews / evaluations. You will work closely with site leadership, program managers, product owners, and peers; assuming project responsibility for integration and management of product baselines at a customer site. This is a day-staff position, located at Peterson Space Force Base. After-hours support may be required. This position and the team will require an on-call component for 24 / 7 emergency support. This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates require 9+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above. Selected candidate must have a Secret security clearance prior to start. This position is contingent upon the program award expected in October / November (post shutdown).
