job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Landscape Architecture 6–10 years of relevant experience NYS PE or EIT preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil3D or MicroStation HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software preferred Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills Familiarity with local permitting agencies a plus, especially NYC
Responsibilities :
- Support design work for civil engineering projects : paving, roadways, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, site layout, erosion & sediment control
- Prepare conceptual layouts, drawings, reports, cost estimates, SWPPPs, and stormwater calculations
- Assist senior staff with project schedules and design / construction issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Attend project meetings and assist with construction administration
- Develop technical skills and work toward licensure if not yet licensed
