SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the Quality Department and all quality related functions required to accomplish department objectives and company goals. Formulates and maintains quality control vision and coordinates objectives with procedures in cooperation with other management team members to maximize product conformance, safety, and integrity. Works directly with customers to define requirements and solve quality issues while maintaining excellent relationships. Leadership is a key strength. Position requires a blend of both strategic and tactical approaches to quality.

- Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure that the plant operations compliant with all quality standards and policies.
- Develop, implement, and support systems and procedures to monitor and manage key outside suppliers and their quality performance.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure that all products meet product specifications, customer expectations, regulatory requirements and internal standards for product safety and integrity.
- Oversee all compliance related activities for Nadcap Heat Treat, AS9100, ISO9001, internal quality system procedures and work instructions, and customer quality requirements including : Boeing Commercial Aircraft (D6-87282 and D6-51991) GE Aviation (S-1000) GE Avio (0070Q) Honeywell (SPOC-002) Pratt & Whitney (ASQR-01) Rolls-Royce (SABRe) SAFRAN (GRP-0087)
- Identify individual training needs and to create development plans for key individuals within the quality organization.
- Motivate and evaluate staff and utilize management tools and techniques in resolving organizational challenges.
- Develop departmental strategy that embraces Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) and Part Approval (PPAP) where required..
- Be constantly audit ready through consistent application of basic quality practices in a systematic fashion.
- Provide overall leadership in to establish and monitor customer / supplier relations, strategic planning and deployment initiatives, and measurement systems to determine organizational improvement.
- Provide and manage the resources to address quality issues as needed.
- Monitor and report key quality characteristics
- Serve as the Quality System management representative
- Responsible to meet throughput objectives for assigned work-in-process inventories, including quality review and release prior shipment
- Provide and supervise the resources to manage the MRB area including scrap
- Ensure that adequate resources are trained and approved for customer Delegated Quality Release (DQR, DSQR) to support shipments to customers.

Fulfills supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
