This is a 70+ member group of employed physicians, advanced practitioners and allied health providers offering services in 17 different specialties. They are the largest provider of medical care in the 300,000 population Tri-State Area composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The System also operates a 426-bed regional referral center. As a not-for-profit system, they accept all patients regardless of their economic condition or insurance coverage. The System is financially strong with A Bond Ratings from Moody s and Standard & Poor s. The group is housed in a new 100,000 sq. ft. clinic building connected by air bridge to the Hospital, which offers maximum efficiency and convenience for physicians. They have been awarded 100 Best Places to Work in Health Care by Modern Healthcare magazine, and it ranks among the Country s top 8% of hospitals in its level of Information Technology development.

Currently the group includes a two-physician Neurology Department which is full and needs another high quality, full-time Neurologist. Practice coverage is currently shared by all four of the community s Neurologists. The group would be particularly interested in adding an additional neurologist with fellowship training in movement disorders, epilepsy, or neurophysiology.
